Authentic Lau Gar kung fu, brought to you by Lau Gar Guardian Jim Cairns and taught by Scotland’s 6th & 5th degree black sashes.

Master Yau brought Lau Gar Kung Fu to the UK in 1961. The British Kung Fu Association was set up in 1973 and Master Jeremy Yau, being the keeper of the Lau Gar style, was invited to be the Chief Instructor. Subsequently Lau Gar has become Britain’s most popular form of Kung Fu.

Jim Cairns 6th degree black sash, joined the association in 1976 and in 2013 was appointed Lau Gar Guardian.
